A report on the operations of the Australia Council for the financial year 1997-98.
The Australia Council's mission is to enrich our nation by supporting and promoting the practice and enjoyment of the arts. The Australia Council delivers these cultural benefits to the community through direct and indirect support for artists and arts organisations, as well as through leadership, advocacy, and industry research and development.
