Liz Cavangh is a proud Wonnarua & Tjapukai and Torres Strait Islander women based in Melbourne. With a musical career spanning eighteen years, Liz has established herself as one of Australia’s most versatile Indigenous vocalists. Liz started singing at an early age with her sisters singing gospel, then went on to private studies in classical as a soprano singer, this then leading her into pursuing a more formal training in jazz and improvisation at the Victorian College of the Arts.

Liz performs regularly in major events & festivals around the country such as the Cairns Festival, The Melbourne International Festival, Apollo Bay Festival, The Dreaming Festival, the Alice Springs Desert Festival, Mildura Festival, Brunswick Festival, Darebin Festival and the Deadly Award's Night After Party
