Kylie Belling is a Yorta Yorta/Bangarang/Wiradjurri woman born and raised in Melbourne. Graduating from the Victorian College of the Arts School of Drama in 1985 Kylie's acting career has covered a broad range of works across film, television and theatre. Kylie directed Nidjera for Melbourne Workers' Theatre and Ilbijerris first play by John Harding, Up the Road in 1991, Maryanne Sam's Casting Doubts for the 2002 Blak Inside season (Ilbijerri/Playbox) Oh My God I'm Black (Ilbijerri) in 2003 and Natives Getting Funny (Ilbijerri/MICF) in 2005. A qualified secondary school teacher, Kylie has been artistic director for Ilbijerri since 2005. Kylie was a co-founder of Ilbijerri in 1990.
