Tracey-Lea Smith has six years experience of living and working as the arts coordinator at Amata Community, Anangu Pitjantjatjara Lands SA. In this position she gained significant cultural experience in relation to the arts and also learned to speak Pitjantjatjara. Tracey travelled internationally several times accompanying Aboriginal artists, supporting them and the promotion of their art.
Tracey has a Graduate Diploma in CCD Community Arts Practice - Certificate IV Training Assessment. Curently she is teaching modules of Certificate IV ATSI Cultural Arts at Chisholm Institute, Dandenong. Tracey is currently working as a project officer of Chisholm Institute's Indigenous Equity Project focussing on re-engaging students into study, training and employment.
