Arts Development

We support the Australian arts sector in the fields of audience and market development, research and information, and arts sector strategic development. The market development section facilitates building and expanding audiences and markets for Australian arts at home and overseas. The research and strategic analysis section promotes the Australia Council’s research priorities, facilitates research partnerships, engages in arts policy and practice-based research, builds business capacity and hosts information services.
