Request for Expressions of Interest for the provision of a Finance System

The Australia Council invites expressions of interest from potential suppliers for the provision of a finance system.

 

The Australia Council for the Arts has a requirement to replace its Finance system. The council currently uses OpenPlus as the organisation’s Finance system. The package was originally purchased nearly 20 years ago and it continues to service the basic needs of Australia Council for financial payments including international payments, recording and reporting.

The council is now seeking a Finance that is user-friendly and capable of automating and streamlining financial processes including day-to-day processes, month-end and year-end processes, budgeting and reporting.

The new Finance System will need to integrate with existing business applications including the Australia Council Grant Management System (GMS), TRIM Record management system, CHRIS HR system, and SQLServer-based Business Intelligence and Customer Relationship Management systems.

Australia Council is looking to engage a contractor to:

  • Provide a Finance system that meets the requirements set out in Schedule 2;
  • Implement  the Finance system either installed on site, as a hosted system or as an Internet based service;
  • Provide configuration and or customisation so that the Finance system provides the required functionality including but not limited to any council specific reporting requirements and interfaces;
  • Design and implement a new Chart of Accounts;
  • Migrate financial data from the existing system to the new system;
  • Provide end-user training and support; and
  • Provide ongoing support and maintenance for the Finance system.
