Our scope
To help artists and arts organisations make excellent arts and give Australians the opportunity to experience and enjoy it, we:
- Support artists and organisations through funding programs
- Invest in opportunities for all Australians to enjoy the arts
- Promote the arts in all their diversity and build new audiences in Australia and overseas
- Build the capacity of the arts sector
- Facilitate partnerships between artists, governments, business and communities
- Research the arts and culture
- Develop arts policy and provide advice
- Advocate for the arts with government and the community.
