2011 Tanja Liedkte Fellowship

24 November 2010

Congratulations to Katarzyna Sitarz, 25-year-old Polish dancer and choreographer, who has been announced as the recipient of the 2011 Tanja Liedtke Fellowship.

As part of the 7 week Fellowship program, Katarzyna will have the opportunity to take up a creative residency at Arts House in Melbourne, attend Dance Massive Melbourne and work with Australian choreographer Lucy Guerin.

The Fellowship, initiated by the Tanja Liedtke Foundation, is named in honour of outstanding dancer and choreographer Tanja Liedtke.  The Fellowship is currently one of the Foundation’s major projects, and focuses on encouraging and supporting a spirit of adventure in choreography through artistic exchange between Europe and Australia.

The inaugural Fellowship was won by Australian dancer/choreographer Antony Hamilton in 2009, who conducted his residency in Berlin.
