Welcome to the Inter-Arts Office’s Sector Plan for 2012-13. This new planning document is called The Emerging and Experimental Arts Sector Plan to reflect the expanded capacity of the Inter-Arts Office, through the Creative Australia New Art initiative and a slight increase in funding in 2012-13.
With this increased capacity in mind we have been rethinking our funding scope and sought feedback from you in 2011-12 through forums, Google+ and Twitter feeds (#IAPlan). This consultation recommended that we communicate in a simpler way to a broader audience what the Inter-Arts Office supports.
To this end, the Inter-Arts Office’s new sector plan communicates the range of work we fund as emerging and experimental art.
This work often still happens through interdisciplinary and hybrid art processes, but can also include broader creative industry and transdisciplinary links across a range of artforms and practices.
