Fundraising to women; the real story when it comes to women, fundraising and philanthropy

Masterclass
9:00am – 5:00pm
Consisting of two parts, the program will cover:
Opening speech: How men and women are fundamentally different in their values, preferences, priorities and decision making. It will explore how this can impact the success of our approaches, both to women directly and to their male partners where applicable.
A half day workshop teaching the impacts on donation approach and how to maximise success, including;
- similar but different, the relevant differences between men and women
- stereotypes and how we unknowingly play to them
- the cost of assumptions about our target audiences
- donor retention and loyalty
- application of gender science/the Fundamental Four™ to the key steps of the “securing” process – rapport, establishing needs, solutions, objections, negotiation, closing and follow up service and relationship.

Presenters
Linda McGregor
Founder and principal of the company All About Eve, Linda has spent her career working all sides; marketing, communications, business and strategy development. With more than 20 years experience, in marketing and advertising in the UK, Asia and Australia, she has variety of experience across a range of categories including fast moving consumer goods, entertainment, financial services, retail and not-for-profit and government.
Running All About Eve, she’s responsible for ensuring the consultancy delivers unique insights into women, through its gender science knowledge and proprietary fem-centric qualitative research. With Actionable Intelligence™ at the core of the consultancy, her primary role is “helping organisations go beyond the “think pink” female marketing stereotype to really understand women and how to communicate effectively with them”.
Linda is a regular conference speaker, providing general, keynote & workshop services at both large, commercial events and small, highly tailored client sessions.
Richard Wentworth-Ping
Owner and managing director of Wentworth Training, a respected, quality provider of training, development and consultancy services, with a specific focus on the interpersonal and communication skills needed to excel in sales, management and leadership, business development, negotiation, client service, presenting and team environments. Richard has an established reputation for adding value through his innovative and inspiring training workshops and presentations.
He has worked with clients in Australia, Asia, Europe, the USA and Middle East and this enables him to bring best practice ideas from the best businesses around the world. Richard has worked in sales, sales management and general management roles for over 27 years, and therefore he adds real value to this masterclass because of that depth of experience.
