The Australia Council for the Arts invites you to discover how the national funding agency can support you or your organisation.

The Australia Council will again be running a series of funding forums across Australia in 2011. The events will give you information on our arts funding programs and how to increase the chances of having a successful application.

The forums are most useful for first time applicants.

The program includes:

• about the Australia Council (our vision, priorities, project examples) 
• types of grants
• examples of successful projects
• tips for a successful application
• Q&A

The forums are free and aimed at all current and aspiring artists and arts organisations interested to learn about what the Australia Council offers.

The events are staged in partnership with the state arts agencies who will provide information about their own funding opportunities.

Forums were hosted in most capital cities in 2010, as well as several regional centres. News on 2011 Funding Forums will be posted here in the new year.
