Feedback

2009 saw the highest number of applicants to the New Visions New Voices initiative since it started in 2005.

Kim Peter Kovac and Deirdre Kelly Lavrakas, co-directors of the New Visions/New Voices program at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts made the following comments:

"We are delighted that the program is continuing its collaboration with Australian playwrights, directors, dramaturgs and theaters with the support and guidance of the Australia Council on the Arts.   It is thrilling to have so many artists in your country interested in the project.   We were impressed by the passion and care put into your proposals, as well as the commitment to art and young audiences.”
