Projects with public outcomes (category C) - community partnerships

Projects with public outcome (category C) grants provide funding from $20,000 to $35,000, for one-off community arts and cultural development projects that must have a public outcome and involve collaborations with a range of cross-sectoral partners.

Closing dates: Applications will be accepted at any time from 1 February to 1 September 2008.

About this category

In the context of the category, the term ‘cross-sectoral partnerships’ refers to individual and organisational partnerships from non-arts sectors that will help make the project happen. Projects under this category are required to have sought financial support (co-funding) from sources other than the Australia Council.

The community partnerships committee may decide to offer support for a project on the condition that co-funding is secured. If co-funding is not secured then the offer may be withdrawn. The committee may determine to make an allocation of seed funding to assist in securing other co-funding opportunities for the project.

Amount

Between $20,000 to $35,000
