About this category
The inter-arts office will consider artist-initiated residency proposals from artists creating work through interdisciplinary and hybrid arts.
Applications are encouraged from artists in all states and territories, regardless of where the residency takes place.
Artists working in media arts should also consider the range of studio residencies offered by the visual arts board, the literature board and the ABC national radiophonic residency offered by the music board.
Artist-initiated residencies
Artists may propose residencies with a host of their choice to the value of $20,000 per residency. Residencies of three months or more will be considered for funding by the inter-arts office. Residencies longer than three months may be negotiated at the discretion of the artist and host within the funding constraints of the program.
