About the Grant
The purpose of these grants is to provide support for dance works with a presentation outcome. This can include final stage creative development and presentation/s and remounts of dance works. Applicants must provide information about presentation partner/s or presentation arrangements. Arrangements can include self presentation.
A presenting partner is defined as anyone able to provide or raise the resources needed to present the work to the public, and could include (among others) venues, broadcast media, festivals, other companies, local governments, museums or independent producers.
Our aim is to encourage artists to take time to develop a work through its life cycle. You can apply for one or more development stages of a single work. Individual artists, companies and other organisations are welcome to apply.
From 2012 the Project grants will be divided into two categories. These are Projects Creative Development and Projects Presentation.
