On behalf of the Performing Arts Festival and Congress team, we wish to thank all of our audience, artists and delegates from around the world for making the 16th ASSITEJ World Congress and Performing Arts Festival such a wonderful event.

As a global gathering of people passionate about theatre for young audiences, we had almost 500 registered delegates from 47 countries, and an audience of over 30,000 people. The active participation of our delegates throughout the forums, conferences, workshops, Playwright Slams and Next Generation programs, along with the many talented artists involved in the Festival program, enabled us to deliver the largest and most comprehensive program of performing arts for young people ever seen in this country. 

The goodwill of everyone – delegates, artists and staff – contributed to a truly joyous celebration of the arts for children and young people.
