Evaluation of Orchestras Review: Request for tender

The Australia Council for the Arts invites tenders for an evaluation of the Orchestras Review 2005 funding package.

The successful tenderer will be required to undertake a detailed assessment of:

• the financial implications of the six state symphony orchestras’ divestment from the ABC and establishment as fully independent companies, and
• the effectiveness of the funding package in ensuring implementation of the government-agreed workplace and governance reforms.

Tenders must be lodged by 2pm local Sydney time on Monday 16 June 2008. The successful tenderer will provide an interim report by the mid-point of the project (31 July 2008) and the full evaluation report no later than 31 August 2008.
