Expressions of interest for arts and health demonstration project

The call for expressions of interest to develop an arts and health demonstration project have now closed (as at 2.00pm on June 25 2007). Updates on the tender process will be made available as they come to hand.
The demonstration project will report to a steering committee comprised of representatives from the Australia Council and other stakeholders.
The project will bring together theory and practice in the field of arts and health. It will result in an arts-health project model that could be considered ‘best practice’ in the field.
In 2006/07, the Australia Council allocated funds towards an Arts and Health Strategy, culminating in the Strategic options in arts and health report.
