Expressions of interest in music triennial grants invited
06 June 2007
Eligible music organisations are invited to submit an expression of interest in being considered for Key Organisations (Triennial) grants by the Australia Council’s music board for 2009-2011.
The Australia Council's music board provides funding to organisations through a range of categories including project funding and core administrative funding. For several years, the key organisations (triennial) category has only been open to organisations that were already in receipt of such a grant.
All eligible organisations are now invited to express interest in being considered for key organisations (triennial) funding for the 2009-2011 triennium. Invitations to apply for this category will be issued to a range of organisations following the Music Board’s August 2007 meeting. Invited companies will submit applications to the 2008 closing date. The invitation to apply does not guarantee success.
If your organisation wishes to be considered for an invitation you should complete the two-part expression of interest process. Part A is a statement responding to a variety of questions about your organisation, and includes the opportunity to add your own comments. Part B provides the Board with some quantitative data about your organisation and is submitted online.
To be eligible for consideration, organisations must be legally incorporated. As has previously been the case, it is likely that there will be further eligibility criteria for Key Organisations (Triennial) funding, but these are not yet finalised. We will therefore accept Expressions of Interest from any company that considers itself appropriate and that is legally incorporated.
The expression of interest and quantitative data are due by 5pm on Friday 15 June.
