International visual arts and craft fair program review: request for tender

The Australia Council for the Arts invites tenders from suitably experienced suppliers to undertake a review and evaluation of its International Visual Arts and Craft Fair (IVACF) 2005-7 Program.

The IVACF Program was established in 2005 as three-year program to assist Australian commercial visual arts and craft galleries invited by fair organisers to attend major international art and craft fairs such as Art Basel, ARCO, The Armory Show, ArtForum Berlin, SOFA Chicago, COLLECT and Frieze.

The successful tenderer will be required to:

• Provide a objective and comprehensive evaluation of the Australia Council’s IVACF Program
• Gather and analyse accurate qualitative and qualitative data measuring the impacts of the IVACF Program
• Provide recommendations that will assist the Australia Council to determine mechanisms for supporting international market development for Australian visual art, craft and design for the next 3 – 5 years.

Tenders close at 2pm AEST on 6 February 2008. Shortlisted tenderers will be informed on 25 February 2008. Services are expected to commence 29 February 2008 and conclude on 14 April 2008.
