Frequently asked questions

Q: Will a tender be ruled out if the tenderer’s professional indemnity cover is below the $5m specified?
A: Tenderers should indicate if there is only partial compliance in relation to professional indemnity cover. This would become part of the contract negotiation with the successful tenderer.

Q: Can we get a copy of the draft terms of contract?
A: Yes. Refer attached pro forma consultant agreement.

Q: Not all the companies provide copies of their audited accounts on their web sites. How does the successful tenderer obtain the financial details for those companies not available on the web?
A: Major performing arts staff are currently collecting as much detail as possible from the companies which will be provided to the successful tenderer to assist with the analysis. During the period of the analysis the MPA staff will liaise with the companies if additional data is needed.

Q: What direct involvement with the companies is the successful tenderer expected to undertake?
A: It is not envisaged that the successful tenderer will need to undertake any one-on-one consultation with the companies or the state agencies.
