In collaboration with Opera SA and Cirkidz Performance Troupe, the Tutti Choir and Performing Arts Ensemble recently sought philanthropic funding to support the adaptation and workshop costs of a new interpretation of Mozart’s The Magic Flute as a vehicle for emerging singers and musicians, including some with disabilities.

‘Led by a professional artistic team, this exciting contemporary adaptation will promote acceptance of disability in a delightfully humorous way and support Tutti’s commitment to building bridges between mainstream and community arts which reflect the strengths of each,’ says Tutti’s Artistic Director, Pat Rix.

Artsupport Australia provided Tutti with valuable support, advice and workable strategies to attract philanthropic funding and, in particular, guidance in building relationships with strategic individuals.

‘By utilising our existing list of close contacts and loyal supporters, Tutti is confident of raising the necessary funds to support the financial requirements of The Magic Flute production by hosting an intimate dinner with the renowned cook and food presenter, Maggie Beer.

‘Twelve individuals who already have solid relationships with the ensemble will be stewarded for support,’ adds Pat.
