Artsupport Australia offers an Indigenous philanthropy mentoring program.
Artsupport Australia's philanthropic mentoring is helping Indigenous arts organisations to increase their funding and become financially sustainable.
Like the major performing arts board's philanthropy mentoring program, 10 Indigenous arts organisations are matched with a mentor for two years. The mentor helps the organisation to grow their philanthropic funding.
The Indigenous mentoring program currently supports the following arts organisations:
- Desart
- Euraba Paper
- Gadigal Information Service
- IAD Press
- Ilbijerri Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander Theatre Co-operative
- Kurruru Indigenous Youth Performing Arts (case study)
- Magabala Books
- Tandanya National Aboriginal Cultural Institution
- Woomera Aboriginal Corporation
- Yirra Yaakin Aboriginal Corporation
