2018 Marketing, Communications and Ticketing Summit

The Australia Council Marketing Summit returned in 2018 with a wider variety of content and a new title to match: Australia Council Marketing, Communications and Ticketing Summit. Under the theme of this year's Summit, Knowing me, knowing you!, we explored all the things that we know and what we don’t, how we can know more and what our audiences need to know about us! 

On the Thursday 28 and Friday 29 June, more than 200 arts professionals joined us at the Powerhouse Museum in Sydney for two days of provocative and inspiring sessions from a diverse range of speakers. Topics covered ranged from 'The Value of Creativity' to 'AI and the future of Marketing' and 'How To Attract Audiences From Diverse Backgrounds'. For our 2018 Summit, we teamed up with Mission Tickets who helped program respected ticketing professionals Andrew Thomas and Tony Lance into the program and curated our inaugural product exhibition. Click here to see the exhibitors.

2018 Marketing, Communications and Ticketing Summit 'Giardini'

Australia Council Marketing Summit

Each year we invite artists, arts workers, academics and leading thinkers to come together and connect with a diverse range of arts marketers. Aside from offering professional development, this event is committed to ensuring more Australians have access to and engage with the arts.


Marketing Summit 2016 explored the theme – Valuing the Arts.  Never before has there been a more important time to celebrate the value of our great arts and artists, from all over the world and from our many and varied cultures.
