Literature - Breaking new ground

Breaking new ground is a one-off initiative to assist in the creation of important new work by established Australian writers and picture book and graphic novel illustrators which breaks new literary ground for the writer and will also have a high expectation of publication or production.

The Australia Council's literature board reviewed 68 proposals under breaking new ground at their meeting of 28-30 April 2008.
