But what do you do for a living?: a new economic study of Australian artists
Presents the major findings from the 1993 survey of Australian artists' work practices and lifestyles.
In 1993 the Australia Council for the Arts commissioned a survey to gather detailed information about artists and their professional lives. The project was based in the Economics Department at Macquarie University, under the direction of Professor David Throsby, and surveyed 950 artists. But what do you do for a living?: a new economic study of Australian artists presents the major findings from that survey.
