Culture, difference and the arts

A collection of essays addressing questions of culture and difference.
Culture, difference and the arts brings together a set of essays by leading cultural critics, arts practitioners and administrators who address the challenge of developing new ways of thinking about the role of the arts in a multicultural society.
First published in 1994, the collection remains startlingly relevant.
The Australia Council for the Arts would like to thank the editors for their generous permission to publish this book online.
