Vanishing acts: an inquiry into the state of live popular music opportunities in New South Wales

A report on the live music sector in New South Wales.

Acting upon government and industry interest, Associate Professor Bruce Johnson (University of New South Wales) and Dr Shane Homan (University of Newcastle), with support from the NSW Ministry of Arts and the Australia Council, set out to survey and examine the NSW live music sector.

This report outlines the importance of a healthy live venue environment, presents the survey findings and details several recommendations.
