Australia Venice Biennale 2009 education resource
The Venice Biennale education resource consists of:
- a printable pdf document that explores the Venice Biennale and Australia's profile at this event along with explorations of the work of Shaun Gladwell, Vernon Ah Kee, Ken Yonetani, and Claire Healy and Sean Cordeiro
- four artist interviews in which the artist talks about their work for the Venice Biennale, plus an interview with the curator of the 'Once Removed' group show (transcripts are also available)
- a National school project for all Australian schools that encourages artmaking and exhibition development through the ABC's Pool website
- a Facebook page for anyone interested in discussing the Australian contribution to the Venice Biennale 2009
- a Visual resource for the classroom, currently being distributed to Australian schools, featuring a suite of five images and key quotes about the artists work and the Venice Biennale.
The Australia Venice Biennale 2009 education resource has been produced by an Education team formed through a collaboration between the Australia Council, the College of Fine Arts, University of New South Wales and the Institute of Early Childhood, Macquarie University.
