Rates payable to composers as suggested by the music board of the Australia Council.

Composition rates included for:

  • Notated instrumental or vocal music
  • Jazz, partly notated or semi-improvised music
  • Electronic music
  • Alternative rates (including contemporary (popular) music / songwriting / creative development.

    I can't get this pdf to open and there doesn't seem to be any other information on this page re comosition rates. Can anyone help?

    Hey Penny! The PDF attachment is to the right, just under the black capital letters saying "Guidelines for music composition rates". There is a little box saying "Related Media" in red.
