Special projects
Apart from regular arts funding, the Australia Council manages special projects and initiatives to address specific sector needs and opportunities.
Below we highlight a few of these projects and programs. They are driven by our Strategic Priorities, as well as by cross-sector and government collaborations.
Marketing Summit
The Marketing Summit brings together Australia's innovative marketers for three days of creative exchange, challenging ideas and international insights on contemporary arts marketing. Read more
ADVICE
Audience Data and Visitor Information Collection Enterprise (ADVICE) is an audience development project providing arts organisations and venues with greater insights into their audiences. Read more
Emerging Leaders Development Program
This program supports leading arts managers in further developing their strategic management skills. It comprises of a five day residential workshop followed by a period of mentoring by respected senior executives. Read more
Creative Rush
A joint project between the Australia Council for the Arts and Qantas is now bringing inspiring stories of Australians and the arts to the skies. The Creative Rush series of short films are being screened on Qantas domestic morning flights, with longer versions of some being shown on off-peak domestic routes. Read more
Initiatives
Australia Council initiatives aim to build capacity in the arts sector. They are often partnerships between the Australia Council and other parts of government, arts organisations or a private sector organisation.
