Several key initiatives support the presentation of more Australian works.
Go See provides travel assistance for presenters to attend performances of Australian works. Through a quick-response program, presenters are able to preview work for the purpose of considering future presentation of these works to their local audiences.
The objective of this program is to support greater access for Australian presenters to more works, develop knowledge, awareness and relationship to Australian performance works, and increase national touring of Australian performance works and support greater audience and market potential for the work.
This initiative complements existing programs within the Australia Council, such as the theatre board’s program – presenter grant and initiatives to provide ongoing support to program more adventurous theatre and dance work.

The ‘Road Work’ initiative supports regional presenters to program adventurous work for audiences across Australia. Road Work is a consortium of 17 regional venues across Australia committed to touring adventurous contemporary dance and theatre to regional Australia. It is supported by the market development section and the theatre and dance boards, and is managed by Performing Lines.
