International Opportunities

Research confirms that Australia Council support has been critical in fostering the international ambitions of the Australian arts sector. Our international projects are a key market development activity which facilitate and build on the global engagement capability of the Australian arts sector.

The Program has two strands:

Outbound Programs

The Australia Council supports artists, arts mediators and arts organisations to participate in a range of international arts platforms, both emerging and established, to raise the profile of their practice, build networks, increase sales, and develop an understanding of specific regional markets and artistic contexts for their work.
