Visiting International Publishers 2018

The Australia Council for the Arts is pleased to announce that Expressions of Interest for the 2018 Visiting International Publishers (VIPs) program are now open.

The Visiting International Publishers (VIPs) Program supports international publishers, scouts and literary agents to participate in an intensive week-long schedule of business meetings, networking events, industry forums, writers’ festival events, and panel discussions with Australian publishers and agents. It provides the visiting delegation with the opportunity to immerse themselves in Australia’s unique literary culture, share insights into global publishing trends, strengthen relationships with their Australian counterparts, and expand opportunities for Australian authors overseas through sales of Australian titles into international markets. The program will be held in conjunction with the Sydney Writers’ Festival from 30 April – 6 May 2018.
