Access Arts is Queensland’s peak arts and disability body. It supports and delivers a range of services to artists, cultural workers and their communities as well as to groups and individuals who experience disability and disadvantage.
Access Arts provides professional arts and cultural services including mentorship programs for emerging artists and employment advice for professional artists and cultural workers experiencing disabilities and disadvantage.
Access Arts utilises an innovative and unique approach to reciprocal partnering with individuals, regional Queensland communities, international and interstate organisations.
These partnerships are instrumental in producing quality exhibitions performances, projects, workshops and professional development outcomes.
Access Arts current flagship programs are Sound Circles and the Brisbane Outsider Artists Studio.
Access Arts is supported by Artsupport Australia, an initiative of the Australia Council for the Arts to grow cultural philanthropy, Arts Queensland, Disability Services Queensland and the Office of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health.
