Andrew McGahan
Andrew McGahan’s first novel, Praise,won the Australian/Vogel Award and went on to become a cult bestseller and the basis of a feature film.
Praise was followed by its prequel 1988. His third novel, Last Drinks, was shortlisted for numerous literary prizes and won a Ned Kelly Award for crime writing. The White Earth won the Age Book of the Year in 2004 and the Miles Franklin Award in 2005. McGahan’s latest novel, Underground,was published by Allen & Unwin in 2006.
