Arena Theatre Company

Arena Theatre Company produces adrenaline-pumping performances for young audiences, aged five to twenty five.

The company is based in Melbourne and creates theatre of varying scales for regional, national and international touring, from small in-schools touring productions, to large-scale, site-specific multimedia works that combine a seamless fusion of cinema, theatre, animation and surround sound.

Arena’s mission is to create dynamic contemporary theatre that genuinely engages young audiences. Arena believes that all young people are entitled to cultural experiences. Artistic dialogue with young people is vital to artform development; so theatre remains a living form. This pursuit drives Arena’s work; impacting upon both the form and content of the work created.
