Ausdance

Ausdance (the Australian Dance Council) is Australia's professional dance advocacy organisation for dancers, choreographers, directors and educators.

Ausdance provides a dance information network through services based in national, state and territory offices.

Ausdance partnership projects include Australian Dance Week, the Australian Dance Awards, choreographic research, the Australian Youth Dance Festival, the Australian Dance Collection, Safe Dance research.

Ausdance services include advocacy for dance, the Safe Dance Insurance Scheme, industry journals and publications, workshops and forums, profiling professional performance, networking and communication facilities, information resources, infrastructure support.

Ausdance is a key organisation of the Australia Council for the Arts’ dance board.
