Australian Script Centre
The Australian Script Centre is Australia's only online library of playscripts and has been selectively collecting, promoting and distributing contemporary Australian plays since 1979.
The Centre’s work supports playwrights by filling a gap left by the very small number of Australian plays that achieve commercial publication.The Australian Script Centre are the administrators of http://australianplays.org, providing playwrights a global distribution and marketing network for their work as well as giving producers everywhere a simple access point for professionally written and production-ready Australian plays.
The Australian Script Centre contribute to the diversity of Australian theatre as the only national organisation that sources, collects, archives, promotes and distributes unpublished, produced performance works; and as an integral member of the national script development network and the Australian theatre industry.
