Brenda Walker

Brenda Walker is an Associate Professor in the English Department at the University of Western Australia where she has worked since 1984.

She has been a Visiting Fellow at Stanford University and a Visiting Scholar at The University of Virginia and Sydney University. Her most recently published novel, The Wing of Night, won the Nita B. Kibble Award and the Asher Award and was shortlisted for the Miles Franklin Award 2007. She has also written Crush, One More River and Poe’s Cat.
