Catherine Jinks
Catherine Jinks is an award-winning Australian author who writes for children, young adults and adults.
Catherine Jink's work has been published in the UK, USA, New Zealand, France, Germany, Poland, Spain, Portugal and Russia. She is the author of the extremely popular and internationally acclaimed series, Pagan's Chronicles - Pagan's Crusade, Pagan in Exile, Pagan's Vows, and Pagan's Scribe- and the sequel, Pagan's Daughter (all published Allen & Unwin, Australia, 1997).
Catherine has won the Children Book Council of Australia (CBC) Children's Book of the Year Award three times, along with the Victorian Premier's Prize for Young Adult Fiction. Her other books include Evil Genius (Allen & Unwin, Australia, 2005), which has been published in the US and which won the 2006 Davitt Award for Crime Fiction (Young Adults); Eye to Eye (Penguin Books, Australia, 1998) which won the CBC Book of the Year in 1999; and You'll Wake the Baby (Penguin Books, Australia, 2000), CBC Book of the Year Award 2001 for Early Childhood.
