Cicily Ponnor is a Sydney-based writer and performer who has worked with various groups in Western Sydney ranging from youth at risk, refugee communities and non-English-speaking background communities.

Her works include: Screaming Fibro (Liverpool Health Service 2001, director and producer), Suburban Masala (Bankstown Youth Development service 2002, director), India@oz.sangam (Urban theatre Projects 2003, co-director) and I do... but (Powerhouse Youth Theatre 2006, co-director).

In 2005, Cicily was recognised with the Australia Council Young Leaders award and also received an Asialink leadership fellowship.

More recently, Cicily studied at the International School of Corporeal Mime in London under the direction of Steve Wasson and Corrine Soum.

Cicily is currently exploring material on a solo show and developing a site-based work looking at political devices in the justice system, the Australian psyche and utopian visions of community.
