CONTACT Inc is a youth-based community arts and cultural organisation driven by social justice principles of access and equity.
Since the organisation formed in 1989, CONTACT Inc has developed a reputation for delivering successful multi-artform and cross-cultural programs for young people, particularly from Aboriginal, Torres Strait Islander, Polynesian, refugee and migrant communities.
As part of its core role, CONTACT Inc provides professional development opportunities and advocacy programs for emerging young artists and cultural practitioners.
CONTACT Inc also produces Laydeez Business a workshop program led by Indigenous female elders and professional performers, enabling young women to tell their own stories through dance and music.
