James Bradley
James Bradley is the award-winning author of three novels and a book of poetry, and has edited a collection of stories by young Australian writers.
James Bradley’s most recent book is The Resurrectionist (Picador 2006), dealing with the murky world of underground anatomists in Victorian England. It was published by Faber & Faber in the UK in 2007.
James is the author of two previous novels, Wrack (Vintage, Australia, 1997) set on the southern coast of New South Wales; and The Deep Field (Hodder Headline, Australia, 2000) the story of a woman's three loves. He has also written a book of poetry titled Paper Nautilus, and is the editor of Blur, a collection of stories from young Australian writers.
He won the Age Fiction Book of the Year Award for The Deep Field and has been shortlisted for the Miles Franklin Award, and the Commonwealth Writers' Prize.
