Janette Turner Hospital

Janette Turner Hospital is an Australian writer who currently lives in the USA.

Her work includes Orpheus Lost (2007), Due Preparations for the Plague (2003), Oyster (1996), The Last Magician (1992); Isobars (1991), Charades (1988), Dislocations (1987), Borderline (1987) and The Ivory Swing (1983).

She won the Queensland Premier's Literary Award for Fiction, 2003, for Due Preparations For the Plague and the Patrick White Award for lifetime literary achievement in 2003. Her work has also been translated in to many languages.
