First-time author Kate Morton’s novel The Shifting Fog (Allen and Unwin, 2006) has been phenomenally successful, and has already been translated into 12 languages.
Published in the UK as The House at Riverton, it was featured on the popular Richard and Judy television book show and became a hit, topping the Sunday Times Paperback Fiction bestseller chart. The Shifting Fog recently won the Australian Book Industry Award for General Fiction Book of the Year.
Kate Morton’s next book, The Authoress, will be published internationally in 2008.
