Musica Viva Australia is the world’s largest entrepreneur of fine ensemble music, presenting more than 2,500 concerts each year inspiring Australian imagination and creativity.

Musica Viva Australia was founded in 1945 and has a number of programs, each designed to enrich, excite, inform and entertain different audiences. Their programs include subscription concert series in all Australian capital cities, a touring program bringing music to regional areas and promoting Australian musicians to international audiences.

Musica Viva's Musica Viva in Schools (MVIS) is the largest and most extensive education program of its kind. Each year MVIS presents over 2,100 concerts in over 1,200 schools, to over 370,000 school children, with more than 35% reaching regional schools.

Musica Viva is a client of the Australia Council for the Arts' major performing arts board.
