Shaun Parker

Shaun Parker has worked as a choreographer, dancer and counter-tenor over the last fifteen years with Meryl Tankard at ADT, Kate Champion, Chunky Move, Sydney Theatre Company, Compagnie ALIAS (Switzerland), and Sasha Waltz (Berlin).

He studied voice with Meredith Monk in New York in 2000.  His work includes Blue Love, Divine Harmonies (Tasdance), My Little Garden (Barossa International Music Festival) and has toured Australia, Germany, New Zealand and Singapore. His award winning short films have screened in numerous festivals internationally.  He was recently awarded the 2006 Robert Helpmann Scholarship.

His latest work This Show Is About People had its world premiere at the 2007 Melbourne International Festival and will appear in the Sydney Festival in January 2008.

Shaun Parker is a featured artist at 2008's Association of Performing Arts Presenters conference (APAP).
