Synergy Percussion

Synergy is internationally recognised as Australia's pre-eminent contemporary music group.

The group's intelligent and innovative performing style spans traditional and modern percussion from around the world. Since its formation, Synergy has maintained an ambitious program of commissions by Australian composers, resulting in more than 30 new works in the percussion repertoire. It has given world premieres more than 50 Australian compositions.

The ensemble tours internationally including appearances at Singapore's Esplanade Theatre, and festivals in Geneva, Warsaw, Hanover, Budapest and Stockholm. It also featured at Queensland Biennial Festival of Music, Sydney Contemporary Music Festival and the Sydney Opera House thirtieth anniversary celebrations.

Synergy Percussion is a key organisation of Australia Council's music board.
