Youth Arts Queensland (YAQ) is the peak body for youth arts and cultural development in Queensland.

YAQ is a membership organisation that celebrates, strengthens and responds to youth arts and cultural development in Queensland. It provides young people and those who work with them with access to information, networks, mentoring, training, and employment in the arts and creative industries.

Their activities include: SPARK - a national mentorship program that enables young dancers, media artists, theatre makers and visual artists to establish a professional career in the arts.

YAQ also manages the Young Artists Mentoring Program (YAMP) and the Transit Lounge - a responsive, flexible, adventurous and supportive space for young people exploring arts and culture. The space is for young people aged 15-25 years wanting to or currently exploring arts and culture in various ways and is a friendly and safe space for all young people.
